GIVING BACK
At Wildland Guiding Company we believe in giving back to create and support community. We donate a percentage of our proceeds to local, non-profit organizations that support environmental protection and sustainability, indigenous communities, education funds and continuing education.
For this season we are donating to the Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA).
The Native American Youth and Family Center is a non-profit founded in 1974. NAYA's work is based in the multicultural and multi-tribal heritage of the Portland region. Their mission is to "enhance the diverse strengths of our youth and families in partnership with the community through cultural identity and education.”
They offer "a wide array of comprehensive services and community-based solutions, including lifelong educational opportunities, cultural identity, leadership development, elders support, homes for families, early childhood programs, and paths to financial security based on traditional tribal values."
NAYA impacts the lives of over 10,000 individuals from over 380 tribal backgrounds annually.
