Level up your climbing with our Yoga for Climbers Workshop. Co-taught by Emily Tighe of Do Yoga Outside and Khyra Wilhelm of Wildland Guiding Company, our one-hour yoga class will focus on the parts of the body used while rock climbing. 

Rock climbing demands a combination of strength, flexibility, balance, and mental focus. Yoga is the perfect complement to climbing, offering targeted benefits that can enhance your performance and reduce the risk of injury. In this class, you'll explore how yoga can help you build stability in key areas like the shoulders, hips, and core, which are crucial for efficient and powerful climbing. You'll also learn techniques for enhancing flexibility, particularly in the hamstrings, hip flexors, and shoulders, areas that often become tight and limit movement. Additionally, the practice of mindfulness and breath control in yoga can significantly improve your focus and resilience when faced with the physical and mental demands of climbing.

Whether you're a seasoned climber or just starting out, this class offers something for everyone. Emily and Khyra will guide you through each pose with an emphasis on alignment and breath, ensuring that you leave feeling balanced, empowered and ready to take on your next climb.
